“We some innovative, afro-futuristic griots.”

Rapport first turned its attention to one of the most compelling tracks on the album- “I Can’t Breathe,” a song that was written as a response to recent incidents of police brutality. The Rapport Design Team directed, filmed and edited a 360 music video to accompany the song. By donning a Virtual Reality headset or using Google Cardboard and their own mobile devices, the viewer is transported through space and time to witness shocking acts of police brutality through the eyes of those who experienced it. In order to invite the younger generation into this very necessary dialogue, Rapport Studios developed Common Core aligned curriculum for grades 9-12. These lessons encourage critical thinking and cathartic art-making, and foster social-emotional growth.
